And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Thank you, as far as that verse
Mat.6:14-15 (KJV) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

how can that be truth after the resurrected Christ, especially the death first. Did God by son forgive us or not? So in response I see to forgive because I am forgiven, not forgive as was under Law to get forgiven, see my point, point praying you do, only god can reveal this not me, I can only try to

    We are forgiven,
    Ephesians 1:7

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
    Colossians 1:14

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
    Hebrews 9:22

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
    Hebrews 10:18

And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

    1 John 2:12

[ Reasons for Writing ] I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.

trying and doing are deep as to what is truth, trying is trying to forgive to get forgiven that odes not work, if you are trying then you are not doing are you?

If you are responding then you do right? So responding to God the creator we do in thanksgiving and praise, not by our own religious efforts
Religion is what am I doing to get God to respond to me, and if God responds to me, then that would make God of God would it not?
So God is the initiator right, and we are the responders. time to respond maybe. I know we all like to do good right? well fro me I am the creation, and the creation responds to its maker in thanksgiving and praise, thank you father and Son for forgiving me, and all the world

    1 John 2:1

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
1 John 2:2New International Version (NIV)

2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
